This is a nice gem of a restaurant in Port Perry. I go to a lot of sushi restaurants all the way to Japan. This was pretty unique where sushi was paired with different condiments with a nice play on the flavours. Very recommended.

Had lunch today at Jinju Sushi on Water Street. We had the vegetarian Maki Platter and it was incredibly delicious! Everything was so fresh and beautifully presented. There was more than enough for 2 people and we even brought home a doggie bag. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is beautiful too. We shall be back to this amazing place for sure! PS. A complimentary salad and miso soup as a starter were included too!

Jinju was a wonderful surprise in quiet Port Perry. You don’t have to go to Toronto for great sushi and Korean food - this restaurant is worth the drive

We had an absolutely fabulous experience at Jinju with our friends the other day! The staff were very friendly and courteous. Amazing customer service and good portions. Many of the staff came and said farewell when we left, including one of the chefs! Hospitality is superb. Definitely try the Hwe Dup Bap (sashimi salad donburi) and dragon roll. They were excellent. And the crunch crab salad was nicely balanced in textures between creamy/soft and crunchy!

Wow! The server was wonderful and the presentation of our sushi was absolutely phenomenal. While looking beautiful, everything was super fresh and smelled like the ocean. If you're craving sushi, please give this spot a try!

Just moved to Port Perry and am so excited to find such a wonderful sushi restaurant. Been here twice and the sashimi, rolls and sushi quality is amazing! Ordering is quick and staff are very friendly.

Absolutely amazing sushi spot! The sushi and sashimi are incredibly fresh and full of flavour—easily some of the best I’ve had. The restaurant is spotless, with a calm, welcoming atmosphere that makes the experience even better. The owners, Koreans, are kind, warm, and clearly take great pride in their food and service. Highly recommend if you’re looking for high-quality sushi in a clean and friendly setting!

We had a fantastic experience at the restaurant. Great food, everything is fresh and came out fast. The staff is very friendly and they have added some partitions for privacy between tables which makes the atmosphere very cozy! We enjoy dining there and it’s even better every time we go back. I highly recommend dining there.
